What is SIFT-MS?

Selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry (SIFT-MS) is a form of direct mass spectrometry that analyzes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and inorganic compounds in air, with typical detection limits at parts-per-trillion levels (by volume: pptV).
